T.V Review: Doctor Who: The Crimson Horror

Title: The Crimson Horror

Air Date: 4th April 2013

Writer: Mark Gatiss

Well, we were promised a story that harkened back to the old Victorian Penny Dreadfuls and that's pretty much exactly what we got.

The trio of Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax are back again and really they steal the show.  The Doctor and Clara got themselves into a bit of trouble so they needed a bit of help.  There's not much I can say about this episode to be honest, not without giving away the plot.

It's got some funny bits and altogether it's lighter than last week's episode, good thing too because I doubt we needed that much drama two weeks in a row.  The ending is perhaps the most important scene to focus on but again, I can't say much or it'll be ruined (not something I want to do).  Suffice to say that even Clara's confused about herself now.
